It's not fun to force yourself to write. I've got that same jack ass of an obstinate streak; you pull me one way, I'm going the other. You tell me I gotta, I'll show you I won't.
so i remember reading that you had psychology/psychiatrist related questions, but i don't remember where you said that. I just wanted to pop in and say that while I don't exactly have my psychology degree YET, I'm fairly close and also focusing on counselling/therapy. Also, it kinda goes with the territory that it's a passion of mine, so I tend to read up about psych stuff in my spare time, and I know a lot of people in the field (on both sides of the couch, as it were). Psych nerd? yes. =P So if you have any kinds of questions at all, and you haven't found a licensed and practicing Psychologist yet, please feel free to ply me for answers. =)
Hee. Thank you tons for the offer, hon. ^^ considering that i might have to completely rewrite the concerned scenes I won't be trying to edit things in depth until the third draft, and that could take a couple years, but i'll be glad if you want to tell me how things ought to go for future reference. ^^

chances are i'll still be around to ask in 3 years time, if you still need anything answered lol =P
also, I just stumbled on a GW fic that does an FANTASTIC job with the boys post-war PTSD, depression, paranoia, oh man there's a whole pile of accurately conveyed mental and mood disorders, and you can tell how they're different from normal personality traits, it's amazing. And there's also a very, very well done character who is Duo's psychologist, and he doesn't suck and does pretty much everything like really good psychologist should. You could even just read the first chapter for an accurate representation of a clinical case study.
Okay, enough gushing, here's the fic if your interested in looking at it;
