*cough* Oddly enough, I just finished re-watching S1 tonight. Love this series so so much, and you pretty much nail all of the characters (as usual :) ). Gotta say I'd never thought about this particular triad, but I think I like it, especially the burny-hawt-awesome Katara/Zuko tension + voyeurish Jet~

ATLA is my staple of entertainment in the background when I do boring paperwork stuff.

Currently redoing season 1 too.

As for the Katara/Zuko/Jet threesome, I think another hot alternative would be Jet seducing Zuko and then the two of them pulling Katara into it (maybe she walks in on them, can't look away, the two of them notice...and claim her too?)

And SO wonderful. Sweet, hot with bits of anger and resentment to add some spice.

The Katara / Zuko and Jet dynamic is great and so very much alive. The dance they do around each other, none quite trusting the other but ah...the attraction is already there (mostly on Jet's side, but I can very well picture Katara and Zuko getting pulled in if Jet manages to set their thoughts on that particular track...they'd be HOT).

I guess this is also pre-Southern Raiders, yes? I wonder how it would go between the three of them after that? And would Jet come along for the ride?

And yep, Southern Raiders possibly coming right up. Unless Jet throws a wrench in it somehow, but.

Zuko and Jet work together very well when it comes to stealth missions, so in that regard, he'll probably be an asset...but he might want to do more damage than Katara and Zuko planned for. Especially he'll have the hots for killing Yahn Rah, which would complicate matters.

On the other hand, he is still recovering, so who's saying that Katara and Zuko are taking him along? And boy, it'd be nice to watch him flounder and try to adjust when suddenly things between Zuko and Katara are running smoothly. He'd probably resent that quite a bit and he'll have a hard time figuring out what to do about it. Once he does though, Zuko and Katara'd really have to watch out!

Heh, me too. ^__^ He'd bring out so many interesting dynamics. I've got to think out all the repercussion, though.

... I wonder where his swords ended up. Hrrm. It probably depends on whether Bee and Longshot escaped or were also sent to prison. If so they're likely rusting away somewhere in Ba Sing Se.

I always figured that after the war, Iroh would run his tea shop...and a spy ring. The new Fire Lord will need plentiy of information to keep foreign relations running smoothly and to ferret out possible traitors. I kinda figured Smellerbee and Longshot would make really good agents for Iroh ^_^
