Well, if there was really anything to welcome at all! Mostly it's a lot of dreadfulness and dullness and going quickly between them. A bit like a roller coaster of dullness and dreadfulness.

[ Admittedly he's not all that surprised that he's getting the once over. He'd probably be doing the same to anyone that invaded the place he'd been living in for a month, whether or not he'd been kidnapped and stuck there. ]
