daycare... again

So today we went to check out some other daycares. The one we liked the most is part of JCC... I will list pluses and minuses for each ( Read more... )

Anat went to JCC daycare for 2 years and we loved it. It was pretty much how you described yours, and it was great. And what do you mean by studying? Why should a 3 year old be studying? It's actually a good thing that they're not studying, IMHO.
And if the price is better - I think it's a no brainer. I didn't send Anat to JCC in Boston because it was twice as expensive as where she goes now. If I could afford it - that's where she would go.

i mean play study. I didn't see how teachers interact with kids. I didn't see the kids... I didn't see how classrooms are being used.

Что-то я не вижу никаких минусов у JCC :)

Еда вряд ли обязана быть именно кошерной, она только не должна быть явно НЕ кошерной :) Т.е. мясо с сыром или бутерброд с ветчиной нельзя, а вот из кошерного мяса у тебя сделана котлета или из обычного, определить будет довольно трудно :))

Чему-то и как-то они наверняка учатся, программа у всех примерно одинаковая.

my friend Karen (onelargecat) isn't Jewish, but her son is attending the JCC preschool in Houston, and she's had no complaints as far as his experience there. but he is switching out, because she found a public preschool that's cheaper and more diverse.
