Dictate my wishlist for me...

Nov 20, 2012 14:31

My mom is flying from the US (NC) to spend Christmas here in Australia with me. I am very excited!!! She's asked me for a wishlist of American things for her to bring. So far I can only think of Fluff.

Any one have any suggestions?

Non-serious answers totally welcomed because I am sick and need some perking up.

electronics & gadgets, games & toys, drinks & food, gift ideas

Etsy is awesome - I adore it.

But all of those things I can find here in Australia already.

Oh but you did remind me that I need to order some bras - the only ones I like and can find in my size are in America. Finding bras here is such a chore!

I can think of SO many cheeses I want - but dammit I don't think they'd survive the trip very well.

Carefree brand chewing gum. My inner 12yo still finds it hilarious!

Carefree = tampons. Not something you'd eat!

Oh yeah duh! I haven't purchased tampons in YEARS so I forgot the name. I love my Miacup.

I think Hillary is working but Chelsea might be available.

No thanks. I have no interest in Chelsea. I'd prefer Socks or Buddy but I believe they both passed away.

First and foremost, I'm jealous as all hell for you getting to live in that great and sunburnt country.

Second, since your mom is visiting from North Carolina, a Rebel flag would totally WTF out of the locals (p.s. that was totally non-serious, in case that needed specifying).

Hahaha - that could be fun to freak out people with.

My son's girlfriend's mother recently went to the US and came back with a Romney campaign sign. She was serious. The girlfriend was appalled and embarrassed. Hahaha.
