I've stolen stuff from shops a few times. Never anything very expensive, some cheap earrings once, nail polish, an eyeliner pencil a few months ago. I don't know why, really, other than that I'm stingy and thought I could get away with not paying for them, and that I was curious and wanted to try it. It's not something I'd make a habit of. If I had been caught I would have had a go at pretending I'd absent-mindedly forgotten I had it on me, but if that hadn't worked and it had gotten at all serious I would probably have caved immediately, confessed to everything and tearfully apologised.

Yes, twice. They were toys, very very small toys, and they were from someone who had literally a HUGE pile of toys (and I mean they were in a pile shoved in the corner of their room) and I figured they would never ever miss them. Chances are they would have given me half the pile had I asked, but I didn't feel like it, and yes, I still have those two toys.

Oh, had I been caught I would probably have said I did it unintentionally, and just tried to play it off.

one time i had stuck a bottle of lube in my boyfriend's pocket and didn't think to check for a security tag...and the alarm went off and it was at Wal-mart and there was this old lady greeter and she was like "it's her" and checked me, while in the meantime my boyfriend chucked the evidence. lol close call

I've stolen items more than once in my younger years. usually nothing over $20. One time i got caught, but knew they were onto me so i put the item back then yelled at them to search me and they didn't. i was scared to death when i left (it was a local music place). i've never been caught again or reprimanded.

When I was a little girl I used to go the the Ballard Boys & Girls Club during the summer and after school. The director of the club was this guy Mark Hendricks. One day he caught me using the reception phone to prank call 911, so he made me sit in his office for the rest of the day all by myself. I was so mad at him that I stole his gym whistle. The funny thing is that I still have it. Until recently he was still director of the Ballard Boys & Girls Club, but they transferred him to another location (with a lot of protest). I thought about showing up to one of the rallies and giving him back his whistle, but I never got around to it. I don't know, should I look him up and give it back to him? I was a hellion when I was a kid, and he had to put up with a lot from me, maybe I should return it.
