What has been the most original wedding you've ever attended? What aspects of the wedding made it original? For those of you who are married, how did you make your own wedding unique?

Brought to you by this wedding I attended just a couple of weeks ago:

That was most definitely worth the 15 mins.

As for me, haven't attended many weddings, so I don't have an original idea, just wanted to comment and say I loved the video!

Wasn't it great?!? :D

His proposal video has 90k+ views on youtube and every time he mentions it on his facebook page he's more and more excited to see the number getting higher and higher. Please feel free to share this with people! It'll make his day :D

A friend of mine got married at sunset in the Florida Keys. It wasn't as particularly remarkable as it was beautifully romantic. The point is, I was the Bridesmaid!!

We walked down the makeshift aisle on the sand to "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" by Abba.

My sisters wedding was probably the most original, mostly because everyone had an awesome time. Felt more like a massive bash than a wedding. Also the order of things. Dinner, ceremony, reception. (A couple of reaons: The groom has heat reacting MS, so the later the ceremony is, the better, also they could have a dinner for the people who knew would actually eat, not waste 17 dollars, and then they could invite more people for ceremony and reception that you don't feel close enough to pay for their meal). Open bar, and a bus service. For 200 dollars, my sister arranged with a bus service to do 4 runs to and from her wedding location to the area of town where most people were staying in hotels. This way, everyone got plastered, not just 50% of each couple.

Wedding in an apple orchard, reception in a barn.

Also, this was one of the readings:

It was actually about this time last year, when I officiated the wedding of a couple of friends of mine. They didn't want a wedding with reception to follow, as much as they wanted a big ol' steampunk party with a brief opening ceremony. As the place was packed, wall to wall with gamer nerds, we set it up as an encounter in a D&D module, including cheesy box text. I made them both boast like bosses to prove to everybody they'd be a worthy partner and adventuring companion for the other. There were vis-modded Nerf guns handed out as party favors, which resulted in running melees all through the joint. And finally, when it came time to muck about with the paperwork to make it legal, the people interested in signing the marriage license as witnesses all had to duel it out.

I attended a Medieval sort of thing in a stone banquet hall lit only with candles, huge tables of food you ate with knives, wedding party in full garb, awesome stuff.
