For those who don't steal Internet, what model of router do you currently use? Would you recommend it? If you care to elaborate about why it's good, please do!

Some people just borrow it.

My SO built a router out of an old computer that basically runs off of a floppy (remember those?) I would have no idea how to tell you how to make one. It works pretty well. He has three computers, and a linksys wireless router running out of it in the basement, and I use the wireless upstairs on the laptop.

Is it really "borrowing" if you won't be returning it?

I have a Linksys E4200 Wireless.

It's fantastic. I couldn't recommend it any higher. I bought it over a year ago, had it set up in 15 minutes, and it's performed perfectly ever since.

That is the sleekest looking router I've ever seen.

It's a Netgear but that is as far as memorising my network hardware goes - it only fucks up and needs rebooting every 3 months or so and can see no reason to by another.

I'm a few hundred kms from it so I don't know the model, but I know it's TP-link. I set everything up myself, meaning it's easy to set up if you can follow simple instrucctions. And it works just fine. Been working fine for a while now.
