Honestly, I think your problems with Facebook are a reflection on you and not Facebook. Granted, Facebook does have privacy issues, but they're well known issues. You can always check the level of privacy you have.

I've had plenty of intelligent conversations on Facebook. In fact, all of my "Facebook Drama" is over political topics. And I do care what picture people post, what songs they listen to, and the places they visit. That's why I have a Facebook.

ETA: If I find myself not caring about the content people post, it usually has more to do our relationship than it does the content or Facebook itself. I definitely get tired of the site from time to time, but again, it usually has to go with specific people I deal with.

I'm more enraged at the silly ways Facebook has decided to make it seem like they've fixed their privacy issues.
