Inspired by every TV drama ever made...

Haha, YES, but this was actually inspired awhile ago while I watched this happen for a SECOND time on Parenthood. I just forgot to post it. But seriously, NO ONE ACTS LIKE THAT!!!

I guess I'm from one of the boring families -- never seen a physical altercation at a family gathering or been punched/punched anyone in the face at a bar, either.

As kids, my cousins and I would sometimes have a go at one another, but I can't think of anytime any adults did.

We almost had a physical fight at my grandpa's funeral. My cousin had been lured out (and brought her poor fiance along) after pretty much disowning my family. Her ex was invited (probably as a not-so-subtle diss at the new fiance, who was the reason she wasn't talking to most of the people there as my family was generally being awful to him) and showed up, and my instantly cousin ran up and shoved the ex, he almost started crying, and a bunch of us had to circle around to keep them apart. And then all the older relatives tried to pretend everything was nice and happy while ignoring the new fiance.

We are classy people. No bar fights, though.

Haha, oh well. Still, sounds like no punching or all-out brawling, so that's a win! ;)

My husband has been in numerous bar fights. He has a scar on his chin from getting hit in the face with a broken bottle. All this took place when he was young, mentally ill, and heavily using drugs, so I think that probably explains it.

I once slapped someone (not a family member, though.) That's as violent as I get, I guess.
