I have a bad tattoo that is bad. Without going into it too much, is it possible to cover the first photo, with something very similar to the second photo??
I think you will need to talk to several different artists to find the right one for the job. But it's possible it could be done IMO. I have several tattoos. Not all of them are great in retrospect. But I have finally found an artist that I love. He is very experienced in cover ups and explained to me what I need and how and why it should be done in such a way that makes me feel confident in our work together. I had step one done just a few weeks ago and am very happy.
Personally I want it gone and nobody is going to persuade me otherwise. The photo is pretty shit but in reality, it is patchy , mishapen (I drew it myself, but the boy behind the desk traced the design wrong and it was consequently tattooed wrong... I didnt check because it was my first one and i was nervoud. My fault) also its upside down. Again my fault. I know it could be enhanced but thats really not something im interested in.
Totally understandable. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you.
I think your most important task is to find a tattoo artist that specializes in cover-ups. There's quite a bit of empty/negative space in the second tattoo, and they're going to be the ones who will be able to determine if that's a good choice for a cover-up.
I looked into it and there were mixed reviews. Im not usre we get it over here anyway :/ I was MAYBE considering lasering but I hear thats even more painful than originally tattoing D:
Some places will use a topical numbing agent when they're doing removals. It's worth looking into... a few laser sessions will lighten it enough to give you better options for a coverup.
Cool, it sure does! His work is awesome. The image on the right is just something I pulled off google. Obviously im not looking to copy it, but it was the nicest out of all the menhdi / mandala type images I could find as an example

my friend used the cream stuff and it faded slightly... she's very very fair skinned, though.
