I'm getting a tattoo!

It's going to be in typewriter font, and my goal is for it to look fairly authentically "typewritery" (lol words). I've picked out six I like, but am curious to see which one you guys like best...

Poll under here )

what the font?!, tattoos

Not going to lie...these all look exactly the same to me.

I kind of loled at this comment.

That's fine, though - it's a valid opinion. It just struck me as funny, that's all. :P

Like I can see the differences. But it's not that the fonts are different just that there are irregularities with the typewriters or something. I would stay away from any of the ones that look smudgy as that will look really crappy in tattoo form.

Yeah, that's something I thought about after posting...I'm probably not going to use #2 or #5 (maybe #3) for that reason...but you can't edit polls. Boo.

I picked #2 because I like its irregularities and the others are mostly perfect. #5 also is irregular but too much so. #2 also seems bolder which is good.

i would be careful about fonts like 2 and 5 -- i think that messiness is going to make your tattoo more illegible later down the line.

Yeah, that was something my roommate pointed out to me as well...and since it's going to be on my foot, it's definitely a concern. Wish I could edit the poll to remove them. :(

Yep, this was my first thought as well. I picked the first one because it looks cleanest, and I think would stand the test of time better than the other ones.

The two thicker-lined fonts are more likely to bleed as the tattoo ages.

Shouldn't you just pick a font out of a hat? Or, you can change the quote to, "whatever happens, I leave it all to the majority opinion expressed in an AMA poll?"

Just because I'm asking opinions doesn't mean I'm letting you decide. :)
