Hm.... I'm usually in it for the sex either way. How to tell when it's more than just the sex:
-I spend the night (not because I'm drinking/drunk)
-I cuddle and smile a lot
-I call back and answer every text
-we talk about sensitive issues
-we talk about long term things (ex: a vacation in the future once we both have the money/time)
