Tab had been quiet the whole trip to Princeton, and Mick hadn't stopped asking her if she was okay until they were an hour away from Riley's place. He had figured out for himself that whatever Tab was going through was enough to get her wanting to be with her twin. He just couldn't decide if it was the accident, or something else. Watching Benny feed the petite redhead had certainly been an experience.
When they pulled up out front, Tab gave Mick a squeeze and thanked him for the ride before she hopped out. She didn't need more questions, but she did promise to call him when she could. Tab pressed the buzzer for Riley's apartment and all but ran inside when he buzzed her up. The ride in the lift seemed to last forever, and by the time Tab reached his door, she was a lot less calm.
She knocked on his door loudly, and tried to be patient as she waited for him to let her in.
