1. I've basically spent most of the last 72 hours alternately taking cold medicine and sleeping. The only thing I've been awake for is the Aeros game last night against the OKC Barons. (Holy crap, Matt Hackett, keep making saves like that, 36/37.)

Some of Hackett's saves were AMAZING. And the goal against was such a defensive fuck-up. Marincin was coming out of the penalty box and managed to catch a sloppy pass, brought it into the zone for Arcobello to saucer in behind Hackett, no Aeros jerseys anywhere between them and him.
LOLing forever at the teenager-or-younger girls seated behind us, though. "He took off his mask, OMG he's so CUTE!" "MATT, WE LOVE YOU!" "No way should a guy who looks like that be single." "Wait, their goalie is gone. Is that legal?"

Are you more prone to colds/congestion since you had bronchitis and/or pneumonia a few years ago?
Also, it's foolish, because I know that being sick is not necessarily linked to weather, but I associate winter colds with winter weather, which HTx doesn't really have.

I don't know if I'm more prone to them, or I just pay attention to them now. In retrospect, I had a fever before we left for Bonnaroo, and probably the camping in the rain (it was relatively cool that year) and being around people smoking didn't help when I was already sick. The other thing is this: I think that the air quality w/r/t to the refineries and smog here have a definite long-term affect on lung health, including keeping the immune system of the lungs active and forcing more allergies/cold-like symptoms.

Is it wrong that I wish I'd been at that game? Ha ha! You don't usually see that kind of epic fight at the AHL level.
I got to see the Great Zamboni Debacle, instead. Ay, me.
