I have a vague idea of something to write for my YAGKYAS fic, but I am just not feeling inspired. I think I need to rewatch a few episodes of Generation Kill or something? Blah. Partly the problem is that the pairing my recipient requested is really really not one I can write (or even see), but the back-up gen fic idea needs something, some single

Unrelated: I find gym locker room behavior to be so bizarre. The water-waster? Also is a space hog. Was late today and she was in the shower by the time I finished. The bench and three hooks meant for use by all three showers? All occupied by her. And in addition to the three towels stacked for use, she'd spread two more on the floor outside of her shower stall (the middle one, of course). Her shower and her entire post shower routine were still in process when I left. I showered, dried my hair, dressed, etc., and she was still puttering around and hogging the communal space. And it wasn't a hair thing -- she'd worn a shower cap!

People have such weird routines. I can remember being utterly boggled by how long Julie would take to get ready in the morning in college. Not showering or doing her hair, but literally sitting there, putting her clothes on would take forever. Like, seriously, you've got it picked out, PUT IT ON. That's even weirder in the locker room, which I find usually colder and less comfortable and want to be out of asap.
