It's not cool. Just, who'd pay for that? And it makes me cranky that it's only available in women's cut. >:/

LOL, it's like, you're humming along to Baby, It's Cold Outside, and then you realize: the male part to this song is fucking creepy and coercive. And you wonder, WHY DO PEOPLE THINK THIS IS A COOL HOLIDAY SONG?

Boo for not feeling well! I hope you feel better soon! (also, internet totally counts as rest, right?)

I can think of quite a few songs that belong on the "this song is not as cheerful as you think" playlist, lol.

I hope A was just messing with you about the golddigger shirt...

D: He actually was NOT kidding. He thought it was pertinent because the women won. Obviously they should be for women, since the men's team did not get a gold medal. >:/ >:/ >:/

Didn't they just have a lockout, like, two years ago? *grimaces*

I don't know why the owners bother. The players all shrug and go play in Europe or in the minors, and nothing much gets accomplished. It's the fans who suffer, but no one seems to care about us.

Yeah, for all of 2005. The NHLPA rep basically said yesterday or today that the players were united in their desire, and they knew they might get locked out. Some have already made arrangements to play in Europe should the season be postponed.

I don't really get it either: half of NHL franchises are hurting financially, and the ones that aren't are merrily signing huge contracts. Demanding more profit sharing from the players hasn't equaled parity, so I'm not sure why demanding more will change anything.
