I am not totally sold on the hiking idea, mostly b/c the least-rainy season is April to September, which is COLD in the southern hemisphere. But lots of people hike the Inca Trail, so it must be worth it. IDK, I forget my camera half the time, but I'm sure between the two of us, we'll figure it out.

Ugh, it's just... work. She's going on maternity leave soon, and so is another post-doc, and Student has to be finished by April. So stuff will quiet down, hopefully.

I was telling someone the other night that while I do miss working, one thing I definitely DON'T miss is having to deal with other people.

Dude, there were more stupidity shenanigans yesterday, but it was too demoralizing to write them up in a comment.

:( Your workmates seem even more backward than mine sometimes. Can I tell you the glee I felt as I left the office last night? (Well, glee buried under panic as I ran for the 9pm train b/c the LA office was a PITA.)

Happy thoughts: NYC soon? And then you'll be graced with my lovely presence next month? And Peru? And a postcard from Barcelona?

You could write Brad/Walt. Or you could write me snippets of Brad/Nate as college students at JHU and Dartmouth :D

:D Done, re: snippets that already existed. Perhaps I will spend some time while exercising pondering more.

:D YAY, VISITS! (Can we bail on SaTX? I guess not. :/ But we are not staying all weekend, at least.) And NYC! We are definitely seeing R3 and Death of a Salesman. I am waiting to buy tickets for Seminar until we are actually IN NYC. B/c if I buy tickets for the night of our arrival, that's just tempting the travel/weather gods.

:/ There were more stupidity shenanigans later in the afternoon yesterday, but I couldn't bring myself to explain them in a comment or another post.
