I wanna watch TWW now!

I also want more college AU, but I'm sure you knew that already.

Probably if I write more of the college AU I'll start with a little bit more of Walt/Brad first. The thing about the Brad/Nate part of it is that I see how the summer goes, and I see the far-off future, but the in-between is hazy. Partly b/c I hate drama and angst, but I can't see them getting together and NOT having some issues at some point, and I'm not sure I can write that.

Every so often he does something that makes me facepalm but think, "I'd totally stick my foot in it there, too. Poor bb."

Pumpkin Pecan bread? I've never had that but it sounds delicious.

The recipe is very similar to that for banana bread, just replace each cup of banana mash with pumpkin. And add nutmeg and ground cloves.

Mix:
2 c sugar
3 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1 t salt
1 t each nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon
2 c pumpkin
1/2 c pecan pieces
3 eggs
1/4 c skim milk
1/3 c butter
1/3 c shortening

Mix ingredients, put the batter into two 9x5 inch greased pans, bake at 350F for ~1 hour, or until a toothpick poked into the center comes comes out clean.

For banana bread, omit the nutmeg and cloves, and switch the pumpkin to mashed banana - I usually just toss overripe bananas in the freezer instead of throwing them out, and if you let them thaw (they'll look gross, b/c the skin turns black with the cold) the freeze/thawing leaves them in a squashy mass that doesn't require chopping and mashing the way fresh bananas do.

West Wing is awesome. I'm rewatching it for the gazillionth time.

i have to say, i love that show more and more each time I watch it - their first season was way above most other people's first seasons. You're going to be hooked.

I think with Aaron Sorkin on board, it *had* to be above other shows. If I had realized how good it was, I might've turned the tv on more often back when it was airing.
