Really, I sat down to write something funny after seeing Snarky's pics and the commentary from Jen and Indy, but what my fingers typed out was something else entirely. Quite strange.

I thought about having a little scene in the infirmary w/ Snape, but couldn't decide if he should be OK, or if the three Stupefies would have had an effect on him & baby. But that would explain his increased bitterness toward Sirius and insistence that he be Kissed, and why he'd have let Remus' secret out.

Here via a rec by why_me_why_not. Okay, I know this is supposed to be kind of silly, but I absolutely love it. I really want more! I envision Snape losing the baby and a lot of angstiness and, of course, an eventual happy ending (I can't help it, lol). This drabble certainly captures my interest and is extremely intriguing. Well done!

Thank you! This is the first thing I've ever put up for public consumption, so I was quite nervous about it. As I told why_me_why_not, I started out meaning to write something funny, but it morphed into something else.

Yes, as you suggest, I see the possibilities for angst, and maybe someday a happy ending for Severus. With or without Lupin. I'll have to think about it for a bit, because I hadn't plotted any further than maybe another scene when Lupin is leaving the castle for the end of Harry's third year.
