1. We are awesome.

3. Inception is showing at the drive in, maybe I'll finally get to see it.

6. Random day-to-day stuff is good. Seriously! I ramble for a good long while about anything and everything.

1. We ARE!

2. I would see it at a drive-in. That'd be amazing.

6. Well, I am VERY good at rambling, so I'll get right on that. I asked if his unit was staying or leaving with the 31August draw-down, but Mom didn't know.

A lot of them know if they have a mailstop date, which is usually like 6 weeks before they actually come home, but we all know the only thing consistent about the military is inconsistency. But yeah, the guys we write to seem to enjoy hearing about the most ridiculous, mundane things. Tell him about Dante and Sandy, or about the weather, or about the ridiculous commercial you just saw on tv. They just like to hear things from home, and to be reminded that *someone* is thinking of them.

fly by commenter here!

6. Any mail is better than no mail. I have kept every letter that I recieved while deployed regardless of who it was from. Whenever we had soldiers who went without mail for a few weeks we would ask people at home to write to them. So, yes random bambling will be appreciated. Also, I had mail forwarded to me after we redeployed so he should still recieve it even after he re-deploys.
