1. I am really enjoying The Wire. It's from the same guy who started Homicide: Life On The Streets, and it takes place in Balmer, too. It had me at the first episode, when one of the characters said you couldn't get on US currency unless you were a president.

I should be able to. I have to work for an hour or so, and we'll probably go out for sushi, since our favorite sushi place is NOT doing a V-Day special event, but in between I have no other plans than to watch more of The Wire and maybe write some schmoopy Brad/Nate GK fic.

We all have our own little fandoms, it's just that some of us like TV shows, and others focus on bands, right? ;)

I spent the first episode trying to figure out where I'd seen the Narcotics lieutenant. And that the judge used to be on Homicide back in the day.
