I am feeling quite smug, almost insufferably so according to MrIris, and am likely to remain so for days. Why? Because I have BuzzFest tickets. (Yes, I know, I said so before. Othello just, I don't know, it doesn't work for me. I know the premise is used over and over again in literature, but HELLO. General? He can't possibly be so naive as to do all that on the word of a guy he JUST PASSED OVER FOR PROMOTION. Can he? Or is that just my own cynical mind being jaded?

So, I've pretty much given up Starbucks. And the idea of buying my lunch. And I haven't bought any new books in a few weeks. (Hey, no comments about how big my to-be-read pile used to be, okay? Book-denial still a valid method of budget-management.) But I have concert tickets and ink. So. My priorities. Perhaps skewed, but I've got 'em. :)

eta: Also. My copy of The Hush Sound's new CD should arrive soon. I forgot I'd ordered it. *flails a little*

I bought my sister tickets to the MCR concert here as part of her graduation present. She still doesn't know I did it (although she knows I was thinking of it). ;)

And, *omg* we're seeing Bruce Springsteen in a week. So, yes, I totally understand--squee away!!!
