So did 2009 yield some shit for you to marvel at?

2009 wasn't as good to me as 2008 was. I did go to the philippines for the first time and that was a culturally shocking experience. Not to mention hotter than blazes. Other than that it wasn't that great of a year. No real marvels for me to behold. Working the early shift now has robbed me of any motivation to do anything anymore. But i did have pea pod stems and they were awesome! How about you? Has 2009 been kind to you?

One of the books on my bookshelf is called "Culture Shock!" and is a guide to traveling to the Phillipines. I haven't read it yet (it was one of Michael's books from when he went there). I guess it's very different? What kind of work do you do? Pea pod stems are so good...haven't had those in a while myself. 2009 has treated me well. Just celebrated my 3-year anniversary with my boyfriend and he's been teaching me to kayak in the ocean. Pretty fun.

Wow. Almost 2 years since you've updated. Makes me feel better about my sporadic updating. I hope you are doing amazing.

Sorry for the late reply. Honestly i forgot my password and where i had written it down. I didn't realize it had been so long since i had made a post here. I wish i could say that i was doing amazing but i am only existing pretty much. I had really wanted to go back to posting regularly but frankly it seems like life is so boring that i can't see writing about anything that anyone would want to hear about. Between this last entry and now i have traveled to the Philippines twice.
This year life has seemingly fallen apart. I made my second trip to the Philippines in March to meet a woman i had been corresponding with for 2 years. Everything was great life was good. The morning after i got back i went to see my mom at the nursing home. The paramedics were trying to bring her back as we arrived. They couldn't do anything for her. Seems like the train has continued to jump the track ever since.
I think you have inspired me enough to make at least one more entry. How about you? Did you and Matthew get married?

Sorry about my previous comment. I just read your journal and i see that you are in limbo about things now. I had replied back to you first. Sorry again. You and matt have been together since i added you both back in the day. I figured you 2 would have lasted. Hope things turn around for you.

Gods I am so bad at answering comments. I am sorry about your mom and the spiraling of the life.. I've always enjoyed your posts, whether they are exciting trips, deep thoughts, or just day to day stuff... but I am like that.
