I really love how you write these two. It makes me so jealous how well you can do it. You always have historical background on your stories too and find ways of incorporating it in too. Like having both of them injured and tired and wanting to just sleep the day away. It's lovely in such a sad way.

Awww, thank you so much. I love to work based on the historical stuff; I usually find a tidbit I'm really interested in, then base a fic or part of a fic around it.

I wish I had something constructive to review with, but as it is, the only thing I really can get myself to say is that I think this was both wonderful in its portrayal of the warmth and intimacy between the two, and heartbreaking in the setting in time and the knowledge of what is coming.

And also that I see that you were the one responsible for the puppet show fic, which clearly was the best thing that ever happened to the kinkmeme *g*
