It's slightly evident that the course of this fic changes a few times throughout, but while there is slightly less unity, it does make it a very authentic train-of-thought narration, and the style unifies it enough.
Of all types of endings, I had never really considered anything like the kind you gave this fic: then, he reached carefully for the pen still clutched loosely in fingers lax with sleep. But for some reason, it feels perfectly conclusive. Why is beyond me, all I know is that it sounds fitting, and that was a nice place to cut off, feeling very peaceful-ish.
That, and the events in the fic are *so* sweet. *lovelovelove*
I'm really glad to hear that it came together at least a bit; in the end, though, I had to go back and spackle over the transitions cause I kept bugging myself that they didn't unify well enough. It's still very loose, but I think I can stop picking at it, now. ^_^
And the end... it was strange. Just like the fic started itself, it decided that it wasn't going to keep going any further than right there. All in all, it's been quite pushy. ^^;;
AT first I was like... "angst warning? Noooo!!! It has begun!"
But it wasn't really angsty... It was nice. And sleeping/exhausted Ike made me awww. I'll enjoy the angst-lessness while I can... I'm dreading the inevitable Soren torture. Damn you. >_
*griin* Yay! You liked! I as a bit hesitant about writing Daein!Ike/Soren (hadn't planned on it when I started the fic, actually), but I'm glad to hear it came out. ^__^

Besides... there won't be a question mark after the 'angst' when I get to the heavier stuff. ^__^
