I am always so freaked out about being abducted/raped/being alone in a house at night because of these kinds of things D:

I remember once when I was younger, in the winter, I came home at night with my parents and nobody had been at home and I rushed upstairs where it was like, pitch black and this pair of glowing eyes looked at me in the dark and I screamed and then this weird animal rushed past me - it was either a cat or a fox, but I was so freaked out that I now never enter the house first whenever we come home late at night and nobody's at home D;
