Announcement/Feedback Request

Hello asianbirthdays members:

I have an announcement to make. Recently I have been considering closing down asianbirthdays. At the very least, I am considering stopping my posts. Although I enjoy what I do here and I love sharing info with others, I don't feel as if what I'm doing is contributing at all to the English-speaking Asian music fan community. Well, I am just a recent friend to this comm and I absolutely love the idea of it. Please don't close it down. I think you're doing a wonderful job, really.

I've only seen about, 2 posts, it'll be three with this one and so far, I am very impressed with the birthdays you managed to dig up. I never even realised Rain celebrated his 27th like.........some time last week.

I don't think I can say enough but I think you're doing a great job, and if you think closing down the comm would be the better of the two decisions, I'll support your decision nonetheless.

I think you've done a wonderful job, never forget that :) I'm glad I found this comm, really =]

Sorry to hear about the feedback problem. I suppose to compensate for time, maybe a cutdown on certain uploads, links, or features in every post could be done....I myself will try to do better commenting, tho lately i haven't been as active on LJ. Thanks for your hard work all this time.

Thanks for replying. I am currently trying to think of a way to cut back on the time it takes to post...I'm thinking maybe I should scrap the full profile I just keep the summaries. That should help. That way I can just glance through a profile to make up the post, instead of writing up the whole profile.

i run a jrock blog, and i thought for a while that it was pointless. but a few people did care, and that changed my mind!

Thanks! ^_^ It did help...so far all I've received are good comments asking to keep the community alive, but I'll give it another few days and see what happens. Thanks for commenting!

P.S. you're welcome to post for someone's birthday. =] I'd like to make the community more active for the members. 8Db

hey keep posting! I like reading :)

I think the reason why most people dont post comments is cause, theres really nothing to post about ._. We just know it's their birthday, and we feel happy and that's it- It helps remind us if we forget anyone of their birthdays too... :)

but it's really up to you :)

Yeah, I think I know what you mean about the comments. I think I might start including like, topics of discussion...At the very least, I hoped for thanks for my uploads, but not very many people download things anyway, which has also been another concern of mine.
