Right! Because he was with Sakura since he was seven, and .... And then got magically transported into Tomoeda when he was 10, he lost all his memories of the TRC-verse, then all of CCS's plot happens, he leaves and goes back into TRC, grows up a bit more, rewinds his time, is kidnapped, grows up again, gets free, meets the TRC gang, bla bla Tokyo, Infinity, Celes, Nihon, Clow, final battle with FWR, he meets his Sakura, who actually bitchlaps him and screams that she loves Cloney and goes snuggle with him and offers him one of her eyes, cause hay green and blue might look cool!, then R!Syao is so heartbroken he asks Yuuko to go to another world with an available Sakura, so Yuuko turns him fourteen again, brainwashes him again, gives him Sakura's teddy bear so he can make a more epic return, and tosses him into CCS verse again just in time for the epilogue.
