As some of you might know, I signed up for spn_meanttobe. I snagged the wonderful prompt 'The Pirate'. You think pirates are great? It gets better! How, you ask. Well, time travel of course. Because yes, obviously time traveling pirates are the stuff for toothache-y romance.

Hmmm.... I could have a side story of parrot/cat. Do people ship Misha and Chad? I don't think I've ever seen that. And it would be weird...

But a cross-species bird/cat story, love despite being natural enemies? Now that's the stuff romance is made out of :D

The average male height of American Kolonists in the 18th century was 5 feet and 8 inches (about 1.72cm). As Jared is waaaaaaaay taller, it would be improbable that he could be the pirate.
There: I scientfically reasoned Jensen into the pirate role :)

Since Jared looks way better manhandling Jensen than the other way around... I mean, seriously, Jensen is far too pretty to be the pirate, whereas Jared is the more rugged looking of the two.

First i wanted Jared to be the pirate...the big pen, the muscles and manhandling...you know. But i read savvy and well thats more Jensen. And first i wanted Chad too but then i read bird shit and all i could see before my inner eye was Radagast. So no bird-eww. *lol* (But the Cat/parrot storyline sounds good )

But you see how toch the choice is? They could both totally pull it off! The only definitive is the animal side story line :D

I wanted to choose a combo of answers but you're a big ol' meanie and won't let us! :p

I went for Jensen as the pirate because now all I can think of is Captain Jack Sparrow stylie pirates and Jensen already looks SO hot in eyeliner that it's a natural leap! ;)

As for the parrot, the fact that you've already mentioned Chad says that he's already wormed his way into your brain. Chad does tend to be the comedy value in a lot of fics, so (a) it works, and (b) it's rather cliché. That said, clichés are clichés for a reason...we like 'em! As an alternative I'd suggest Chris Kane, maybe Aldis (yeah, seriously lol) or...for a little does of extra humour in with the schmoop, the voice of sarcastic reason etc. you could have Jim á la Bobby for Sebastian á la Balthy. Just thinkin' out loud. I'm sure whatever you come up with will be great! :D
