No to the conception but good idea, as for how and why... there are subtle clues but will reveal more next chapter. Thanks for reviewing, it really does motivate me to write faster.

Omg they switched powers!? Well okay not powers exactly as Arthur really doesn't have any, but you get the idea. I wonder if Merlin knew that was gonna happen? I'm thinking no since he was so shocked by his own strength, and than of course,
Arthur's sorcery. Wow, wonderful chapter as always. I can't wait for the next update!

Oh... It took me a moment, but EEEEEEEEEEeeeeee!!!!!

If you're going where I think you're going, then I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

Also, can I just say, Guardsman Jarrod? *smishes* He may just be the smartest guard in Camelot. (Which isn't saying much, but still...)

*beats Knights about the head with big stick* Honestly boys. I wouldn't want to be you when Arthur (ne, Merlin?) get's a hold of you. *snickers*

I think you might be on to something. Yes, Guardsman Jarrod, I created him as a sort of medieval CSI as I was a little sick of the 'simplistic' investigations they refer to - they may not have had DNA or fingerprint databases but people of those times still had the same brains as us (probably more). I might keep the guardsman around.
Annnnd, yes, as to where you think I'm going - as a huge hint and possible plot spoiler... the coin has been well and truly flipped.
