Heh, I can really see Scribbs getting bored in the middle of an investigation! And how she's caring for Ash, but you've kept her perfectly in character, cracking jokes and all. :)

Thank you. I'm glad you liked, even if I don't think it was actuallly what you were looking for.

Yes, I agree, it's easy to see Scribbs getting bored and wandering off . . . unless she had some handby action figures of toy cars to play with *g*.

Maybe next time I'll try to figure out a way to get those action figures and toy cars into a story.

hero!Ash to the rescue... unfortunately she forgot her lack of superpowers.

"What do you mean, I always listen to your orders Ash," moving toward the kitchen, the blonde grabbed two wine glasses and the bottle sitting on the counter. "I just don't always follow your orders."

Hee! So Scribbs.

Liked Ash's immediate response to Scribbs in danger. V cute.

I actually rewrote that line. I'm glad I did, this line worked better.

Sticking her head back out the door and looking at her partner, "So you want your duckie's tonight or not?"

Just a perfect image to have. I can see Scribb's face with a mischievous grin on it.

I have no idea where the duckie thing came from, but I couldn't resist putting it in. And yes Scribbs would have a mischievous grin, how could she not.
