All quiet on the Caroline front?

In a shock non-Lisa Faulkner related post, here are some caps of Caroline Catz in 'All quiet on the Preston Front'.

Because it is particularly freezing today, I have been keeping warm by drinking cups of tea and watching Caroline being excessively cute, shy and socially inept.

Oh bugger... now I really have to find a copy of this show and rewatch it. :-)

Annoyingly, I have absolutely no recallection of Caroline's character.

I /do/ remember the blonde... though her name (real or character) escapes me... 'cos she was the NCO and also cute.

(Shallow, me?)

I thought Caroline's character was partially mute for the first couple of episodes. She doesn't talk much, and when she does, she's a bit strange. But utterly adorable.

The blonde in the pics above? Her character is called Ally.

Personally, I'm deeply shallow. And proud of it.

I have only vague memories of All Quiet On the Preston Front but after seeing those caps I feel a sudden urge to buy it on dvd. Is it any good or would I be just buying it to perv at Caroline in uniform?

I love your captions by the way :)

I had only vague recollections too, which is why I bought it. Actually, that's not true. I bought it at the same time I bought The Vice and Doc Martin and Dangerfield and Spooks. Sensing a theme?

Anyway, it is good in that gentle northern humour kind of way. However, if you buy it from Amazon, your recommendations will start to include things like 'Hamish Macbeth' and stuff.

Oh, and if Caroline in a baggy, ill-fitting army uniform is your thing, then perv away!

I am sensing a theme there :p

I already have Spooks and I've seen some of Doc Martin (very adorable Cornish accent). Is The Vice any good? I'm just noticing how many times Caroline has played police officers. She was in The Bill as well. How strange.

I quite like northern humour (Playing The Field et al) being a Yorkshire lass so I may have to buy All Quiet... who needs an overdraft?
