Browsing over at raregirlslash, I noticed that ralst has signed up to do a manifesto on Ash/Scribbs. So I might just leave it as the commentaries. We'll see. Glad you're enjoying them, though.
Ash runs a police check on all of her prospective suitors to see whether or not they are married. She obviously has trust issues. No she is just sensible - I should recommend to her to take a full family medical and psychiatric history and consider genetic screening.
Ash knows that Scribbs’ mum can’t work a mobile phone, and feels perfectly comfortable reading private text messages, and Scribbs is happy to let her. I think, at this stage, Scribbs is trying to make Ash jealous, show her that she’s missing out on something. Definitely an idea I am going with! Also (as funny as Ash is) I can completely believe that Scribbs' mother can't operate an egg timer.

Scribbs suddenly felt guilty was that she couldn't stand the thought of hurting someone whp looked like Ash. - It could equally mean this. Scribbs is reminded of Ash quite often though. Their temporary boss in ep 2.01 reminds her of Ash also. I love the 'And now I'm going to punch you in the head' bit.

Also I saw the look Scribbs gave Ash when she passed her to get towards the murder weapon, before the meaningful look. It was sort of sultry if you ask me. Now THAT made me melt. And after Scribbs got the text, Ash's steps are quick and aggitated as she walks to the car.
I honestly thought that when she said Excuse me ma'am, she was talking to the murderer's wife, but then you said it was Ash she was talking to I was like 'That is hot'. But the look she gave ash was moreso, lol.
