I love night trains !!! You get to hang out with a bunch of locals who, in my case, speak a different language than me but are eager to be my friend.

The last train I was on, I spent a while with this crazy old Thai guy who taught me to count to 999 in Thai. Has turned out to be useful skill too!!!

Nice luck with the Polish guy! I love meeting people like that!

the few that I have been on have not been as much fun... in fact, usually I am surrounded by cranky people who wnat to sleep. Everony hot and blah
except for the last one I was on... there were cranky people but I got to ignore them and stare out the window to the beautifully gorgeous night sky and millions of stars

ahhh

but ths train ride will be a first in a sleeper car, I am excited!

I have been meeting all sorts of awesome people -my favorite from here being the cute Irşsh girl I met and hung out with last night!
