For the last one, they don't have to be the exact same ones. Museums often have replicas of things that no longer exist or are too fragile for public viewing.
All these others, though, are things I have asked myself. The Cole ones particularly irk me. The fact that the sisters were never allowed to find out that Cole was unwillingly possessed by the Source (and that the show eventually changed the story to him wanting to be possessed or something like that) always pisses me off when I watch those season. I liked the season 4 storyline and the idea of him being possessed. But the sisters should have been allowed to find out. There were other ways that Cole could have been killed off. Why not have him give his life for Phoebe? That would be much more in-character.
I do love the show. But it is a show that you can't really look too closely at because there are a lot of problems.

He (and Phoebe) deserved so much more then that storyline. I was just horrible. I felt like they ignored the fact that Cole was robbed of his agency and self by the Source and the writers.
