Re: Cobb's first inception - I think that his first inception was an accident, and (my thoughts here) after Mal's death, he related the contents of their dreams to Miles, who then maybe explained to him what he'd done, given him the technical terms, etc.
Re: Arthur/Eames - That's just unresolved sexual tension. After the job, they got a hotel in LA where they proceeded to screw like rabbits until they had no energy left. You make a good point. When Cobb goes to see Eames, Eames is already familiar with Arthur, which would suggest that they've worked together in the past. Since Cobb is the most skilled extractor, maybe they're vying for right-hand man?

1- he was aware of their extraction job and made sure they didn't get the info (i think) either way yes he knew about it lol
2- Mal and Cobb had been talking about how to preform inception so no one taught Cobb. So when Cobb needed Mal to leave limbo that's when he tested it out.
3- hmm...i did not get that feeling i though it was more like best friends that bicker all the time.
4- thrilled! hell yes! i love them together love love love haha and i also noticed her face when they were in the hotel room she looked so impressed by him
5- he uses Mal's totem now so that's his totem, the wedding ring is a little hint for the audience to notice so they know if its a dream or reality

The wedding ring serves as a sort of totem for the audience--in his dreams, he is still married to Mal, but in reality, he's long since packed the ring away. I think we are meant to assume that Cobb began using Mal's totem for his own after she died.
