I am so pissed right now it is not funny.  Not in the crappiest.  Not really in the mood to go into detail, but just thought I'd vent.  Because hello?  No venting combined with twenty odd screaming kids for 4 hours?  Not good.  So.  This is me venting.

There.

Done.

If anyone is there, please vent with, so I can stop obsessing over my pile of crap ( Read more... )

me, rl

Aww.... Harness the anger and channel it into some awesome writing. House can be like twenty screaming kids at times.... or at least one really large kid screaming really loudly. It could work.

Maybe all the kids are shrieking because they're dreading the possibility of having to learn mercantilism theory in a few years. Because trying to find a way to explain that to eight-year-olds is my task for today--along with about a dozen other things and meetings. God, can this week just be over already...?

INORITE.
I wish this week could somehow just vanish into a vortex so when I wake up (after I get to sleep, which is, oh, let me think, no time soon I don't think), it'll already be next week and that much closer to winter vacation. Nergh. Hello God, are you there? And you have to explain what to eight year olds? O_o (And WHY does that make me think of Shylock? Oh, just take my pound of flesh and be done with it...God knows I won't mourn its loss *headkeyboard ( ... )

Well that's annoying. To put it mildly. Stupid people. But that's life, I guess. And hey, you got Disney stickers! I'd call that a good day, lol.

Ha, yes--mercantilism, Merchant of Venice... both have to do with money and exploiting others. And eight-year-olds will probably have about as much understanding of Shakespeare as they do 17th century economic theory....

Heh, if your employer found his way here, I think I'd almost be impressed. ;)

(This post so responds to yours out of order... sorry.)

MEH. I just went and removed my link on facebook in any case. One can never be too paranoid, no? Ugh. How did the eight year olds take to Shylock (and the nasty ways of commercialism)? I remember I was one of the few people who actually felt sorry for him, back then.
