...I was going to tell you about my weekend. And I will, because it was pretty cool. But have suddenly and randomly decided, instead, to treat you all to the complete text of the book that was my absolute favourite when I was but a wee kitten still learning to put together letters. Awww that was so lovely.

The first book I remember loving was called something like "Lisa can't sleep" and it was about a little girl who couldn't go to sleep until she had found all her stuffed animals. I think the point was to teach kids how to count because at the end of every paragraph we had to count how many plushies Lisa had found and put next to her on the bed. I think she had 12 all in all and she fell asleep as soon as she had found the last one :)
