I have several bookshelves of academic books mostly from my Japanese Studies major in college, and so I picked up ones out of pure interest along the way. Some of them included that book and the related subject matter. yea... I have to say I was interested in learning everything about Japanese culture anyways, but I was definitely motivated to read them from the "BL fan" perspective as well... (///∇//)
