I sure wish I could thank her again for taking me along on this trip-of-a-lifetime. I miss you so much, Mom, especially every year on your birthday...
There are so many things I think of now, and wish I had the opportunity to talk with my folks about again, particularly as I get older and see the world as they may have at this point in their own lives. I miss my mom at all our family birthdays: she would call on each one and sing Happy Birthday over the phone.
