So, I recently subscribed to this online newspaper archive for my Covina history project, and discovered scandal in my family's past. Turns out my father was involved in a fairly messy (and publicized!) divorce.

That's an amazing wealth of information! How much digging did you have to do to find all this? Sorry to hear about the difficult parts, but the travails eventually led to a more stable family, than a stable of hosses it seems.

Most of it's just family lore and photos, but the real finds were the newspaper articles from a service to which I have only recently subscribed. I also now know why my father hated the LA Times. He used to grumble things about them like "their reporters are dishonest." He should know!
