Ren has decided to sleep the day away, and hopefully it would be over before he noticed. In theory, that was a good plan. Unfortunately, in practice, there's the smell of food and the sound of music and... Rai singing?
That right there's enough to drag him out of bed, even on his birthday. He stumbles down the hallway, rubbing his eyes. "Rai?"
Rai freezes in mid-dance, and he at least has the decency to look mildly embarrassed and blush. (Kaida continues popping around like a mad kangaroo.) "Sorry I woke you up." He crosses the room and kisses now? "Cake's not done yet."
