Such a nice day outside, Rai was definitely not going to stay inside to do his homework. Not that there was much of it being done. In fact, he was dozing, Kaida curled up by his side. His backpack made an impromptu (and rather hard) pillow, and one of his textbooks was laid open on his chest. He'd been making an attempt at it, at least? :D

Vergil had been waiting for this day since he'd heard the mention of it brought up. He wasn't one for celebrations normally, but every so often he could be found with a soft spot.

That's why he had a small chocolate cake held in one hand as he went looking for Rai, Dante the aron following close behind him as was the usual. When he finally does happen across the young man, he smirks as he sees him dozing.

He clears his throat loudly and stomps his foot on the ground nearby.

Dante is quite happy to bound over to Kaida and give the Growlithe a thorough snuffling.

Rai snaps awake and up in an instant, leaping to his feet...and blinking sheepishly when he realizes that it's Vergil.

"Ah...hi." :D

In the meanwhile, Kaida will be more than happy to greet Dante with a happy bark and generous amounts of tail wagging. Once he wakes up anyway.

Vergil smirks widely down at his young student and he nods in greeting. "Good morning, Rai," he says. "Did you sleep well?"

Dante sits back and scratches his forepaw over his head innocently as soon as Kaida barks. He's the picture of innocence!

"Yep," Rai responds, grinning. "What's going on?"

Kaida barks again and wags his tail. Playtime is now? :D
