Who the hell are 'Warriors for Innocence' and why does anyone care what they say?

Can someone give me like a little summary of why LJ/6A are paying attention to them at all? Like we really need any more watchdog For The Children bullshit?

The usual nutjobs. Going after anything not yay on their agenda. Threatened both Common Carrier status and ad revenue. LJ gave it up. The end.
