This is fantastic!

I love both shows and I've always noticed the similaries between Emily and Alexis, so I love the idea of the two of them being friends.

This is quite good. I like the compare and contrast between the two girls; and how they see each other's good fortune much more readily than they see their own.

AW! This makes me nostalgic for Lie To Me - I wish it hadn't been cancelled just when Cal realised his love for Gillian:-( And yes, one of my favourite things about both shows is the awesome father-daughter relationships - gotta love them:-D

Now i really want to go to a dinner party at which both Lightmans, both Castles, Beckett and Dr. Foster are in attendance. Wouldn't that be a hoot.

I think Alexis and Emily would make awesome roommates. Lovely story. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I've never actually seen Lie to Me, but I read this anyway because I love Alexis, and I think it's lovely. I especially like the image of the girls reading together and that they're both mature and sensitive enough to realize that there are some questions about the other's father they probably shouldn't ask.

Lie to Me is a great procedural--it was cancelled last spring, but I would highly recommend it! Emily's relationship with her father is so touching.
