Addie looked at the child who was tearing up her flower, and the smile left her face.
She looked at him, the rage building, and suddenly the other children were asleep, and she bounded for the boy. He barely had time to squirm as she tossed him to the tree.
A moment later, she returned to Phoenix, and pinched his cheek happily.
And he thought he'd seen her pissed off... He makes a strong mental note to keep her reminded that he not only tastes of chalk, but probably old running shoes on top of that. And strychnine.
Picnic. Good. What Lady Addie wants she gets, as far as he's concerned.
"Um. Lovely idea. I'll have to organise something from the town..."
