It's exactly what I wanted when I wrote that prompt! Snuggling together on the couch all of them, including Bob! And that Cortez is there too makes it even better! I have a very soft spot for him. I love that they all fall asleep like that and that Frank is a bit better when they wake up.

I also love how you write Gerard, doing his best to be alpha but so ridiculous grateful to Ray for bodily carrying Frank into the lounge when his own wheedling (of course :-) didn't succeed. And the way he represses his memory of Elena is both sweet and sad. And Mikey's look is hilarious!

I am the latest at replies right now, but oh God, I am so glad you like this. This verse has been living in my head for so long now - which is partially your fault anyway - that when I saw your prompt, it just. Fit. :)

I wanted the pack to be - not quite a group of misfits, but people who just fit together and yet weren't necessarily related by blood, and I figured that would extend beyond the band members. Even Brian's pack, though he isn't wolf. (Of course Bob! I can't ever leave Bob out, but especially not in this verse. :S)

You know me, I love Gerard. ;) As I said above, this is supposed to take place during Warped 2005, when things with Elena would still have been fresh and raw for them, so I'm glad that rang true for you. (Hee, Mikey. Gerard tries so hard, but Mikey sees straight through him.)
