My darling dearest sweetiest cutest favoritest kitty-cat girl, Good Fortune, aka Smudge, is 9 years old today. Nine Years Old. Happy Birthday, Smudge!

My goodness, that's a big cat. I remember her as a little bitty kitten.

Yeah, she got pretty round, hit about 12.5 lbs at some point. She's less than that now, but only with effort on my behalf.

But yeah, you'd probably remember her from that party I had a few weeks after I got her, right? Dinky little kitten going from lap to lap in the living room as if there weren't 20 or 30 people* in the house.

*or more, those parties typically had 50+ in & out before the night was over!

I met her at a party at your place for Josh, maybe? And then I'd come to your place for Halloween parties when she was a little older, and see a glimpse of white tail as she ran like hell. :)

Ah, so she'd have been a little older then at the Josh party, but not quite a year. Yeah, she was still pretty small back then, though.
