I like that Jethro is finally getting a grip on how to deal with his niece.

I had a thought----we always assume that Gibbs was a great dad and had a good relationship with his daughter, but the only children we've seen him interact with, on his own one on one, have been boys and breifly wiht an infant. I can't help thinking that Shannon might have been the reason gibbs got along well with his daughter. That he needed a buffer, someone to translate, someone to give him a hint of how to interact with a little girl. And really, given his active duty status there was likely a lot of Kelly's life Gibbs missed---he might have missed out on months at time or even a full year. He would have needed Shannon to help him get to know is daughter again at least once or twice.

I am so enjoying this. Michelle is a lovely little girl and I am glad to see that Gibbs is warming to her. I love the way she and Tony immediately got on. Looking forward to more.
